We Need REAL Male Characters

Greetings,

I've just noticed something, 2/3 of the character roster are female, do you even consider that boys play this game?

No, Erwin & Jin aren't even considered proper men, one is a complete pervert while the other one is hiding in a shell, we need someone who acts neutral, like Ravan.

I enjoy playing characters who use swords/katanas and the like, just make Ravan playable or make another one which uses swords but please make it male and a real one at that this time...

It's really disappointing to know that the next playable character is Iris, I don't hate her or anything but I've been fed up with women all over this game, I'd play barbie if I wanted a girly game, I'm here for pure manly combat.

First of all i get what you mean, i main jin and he can be tiresome sometimes because of his "I will always help!" nature while erwin makes me want to punch him once a while for all the bs he says but they are generally ok characters, usually this types of games are gender locked which i would had prefer to customize my own character but i kinda resign to the idea so i have no problem with it anymore.

With that being said why you care so much of the characters your using if you focus mostly in the combat?.

Because the story is a bonus I usually read to avoid getting bored from repeatitiveness, it's refreshing to have a break in between levels. (And then there's Erwin throwing a perverted statement & ruining my mood lol)

Furthermore, I don't like fighting as a girl with a skirt, it's a dishonor to my pride.

Thanks everyone for the support, let's hope devs see this thread & at least consider adding more male characters to the game.

I... wouldn't get your hopes up. As far as I can tell, Iris was originally released way back in 2016. To this day they still haven't released any other characters. I'm fairly certain that with a game of this nature they may be satisfied with the roster as is.

maybe after Iris' advancement appears in kr server, there may hopefully be a new male character... i really want another one even if it takes years

I want attacker lancer though. In most games they are pretty much defensive. Like ro and tera.

I want something like Lancer from Fate Zero. The guy with 1 long, 1 short spear and looks op asf.

Cool concept it looks similar to how Kurisu's weapon works, I doubt it'd be hard for them to implement such a thing if they wanted to...


They did a great job with most male bosses but did little work on male Soulworkers, even Kurisu/Ravan/Sukkarak's dialogues are better than both Jin & Erwin even though Ravan & Kurisu have 1 line of dialogue in the whole game.

I am a female and I too wish they would make more dif kind of male characters. Jin is the best imo atm but still I'd like some badass cool male character :D

Highly unlikely, the KR server haven't gotten a new character in years. This is probably all you are going to get to choose from. Since they haven't worked on any charcters in such awhile, I doubt any will come.

I suspect they are going to release new maps and further the story... At least I hope...
Given that at end of Ruin Fortress, the story still haven't even reached the climax yet... I also doubt that grasscover will somehow close the story and explain the void, NED, and Bashai etc...
Too many loose ends.
We haven't even get to see the reapperance of 'my dearest Edgar' the clown. He's clearly an important character that suppsoed to reappear...

Anyways, I'm fine with the current roster since I like Haru. She is best girl lol.
I wouldn't mind more male characters, the current selection doesn't target a wide enough audience... Ie. not everyone find a male character they like.
Although I think most can find a female character they like.
