These are the ones I would recommend. There will be extra points and you can use them for some of the skills I excluded or rank up things that I personally chose not to.
I actually have Elusion at 2/3 because I had some random skill points remaining. Don't up shadow roll beyond 2/3 because it shortens the invincibility.
I put some random points in to Arena storm because extra damage buff, but it only multiply base stats(no gears) so its not actually as good as it first appears.
Bladewall is just for mobbing, extremely useful to have but I don't see a need in ranking it up. If you got extra points, I guess it doesn't hurt since its used a lot to mob.
Thank you, this is all very useful! I have a couple questions though.
1) You didn't take bladequake? I feel like that's a strong skill.
2) I didn't put any points into whirl blade (I'm 40, I'm assuming the subskill is advancement)
3) For ground pound, why did you take strike storm? the other guide I looked at (albeit old) used attack measure. Is there a large difference?
4) Why didn't you master endure?
Forgot Bladequake, it actually got buffed and its actually a decent skill now.
It is worth using now, so go for it, but you will probably shave off points from some of the less important stuff like Shadow roll or Elusion. I forgot to mention it because I haven't use the skill reset to get it yet.
I still wouldn't say it is mandatory because it pushes mobs away so not great for mobbing unless you combo it with a ranged skill. I'll give it lower priority compared to other skills
Whirlblade gets a extension with advancement and its pretty decent. With advancement extension, the Attack and SA break % are increased dramatically and are similar to Armor Smash for example, slightly lower damage but higher SA break. Also low cooldown for that much damage makes it a nice skill to have.
For ground pound, either extension works.
I chose Strike storm do to more damage and SA break with its multiple strike. The other one is a bit better when mobbing since it have larger AOE but I don't think you really need more mobbing skills. Bosses are what's dangerous and the SA break + extra damage comes in handy.
Mobs get trashed anyways so its just overkill.
As for Endure, it just eats 3 skill points so not really worth it unless you have extra points.
Yea, I have bladequake and it seems good against bosses, don't really use it for mobbing. I might drop it all together. I will have to put points in whirlblade since I didn't bother with that one. I went with the same route for ground pound, it's very strong against bosses and armor breaking.
Thanks again for all the help. Still working on builds for the other classes I mentioned lol.
