Is Lily really bad?

I only just started playing and I saw that a lot of people say Lily is the worst character to play end game and hard to play. Is this true? She is the character that interested me the most. I couldn't seem to find any character guides made recently. I want to make sure I like the character before I get far in the game so any input would be helpful.

Lily is one of the best characters of this game, especially the official version of the game, those who believe that she is the worst character in the game belong to the subtype of players in soulorker *trash*
If you like Lily-play on it, it is very strong and useful, though survivability is not particularly stands out, in the future it will be much better, I'm with the official version of the game, I have Lily level 60, the character is very good, though for me not as iris)

Lily is enjoyable to play, but for real she is weakest. She is worst in PvP without doubt. Her PvE isnt Top class either. Small hp, nearly 0 utility compared to other classes. She has 2 good skills for now which you rotate over and over again, thats it. Comment above only show that guy has no idea about game or damage stats of skills%, utility of other classes compared. Lily has even worst ultimate - guillotine, which is slow, enemies can run from it, and im not gonna talk about fact lily is even the most bugged class for now in the entire game. Yea she is playable, but all other classes do a everything better for now.

That sucks Personallity and Looks shes my favorite character im only level 10 though. I tried Iris and didn't like her slow attacks. Maybe I should play Haru

well.. that's depend on your playstyle... lily is one of "mobility character". tbh i like playing lily as my main chara. you have to really play save, read situation perfectly, dodge at perfect time and do perfect combo. find your own playstyle with lily, learn how she moves, then it will be great. Yes she's one of the weakest chara but she has a big lifesteal. that's all from me. :) hope u fun with lily

I moved 4 characters to lvl 55, lily is one of them, lily and haru deal a crap ton of dmg, in end game people don't need to worry about survivability anymore, because of gear, they just want to deal dmg. She is the best character for GC, she breaks armor almost instantly+best with damage akasha.

Lily is Bad for a starting char for sure I would go for Haru as my 1st char since she's balanced or u can get Erwin since he can take some hits as well but if we're talking if Lily is bad or not , No she's Not that bad . she's actually one of the most damaging characters but she has weak defence .on the hand Haru is balanced overall she can do alot of damage and she got a good def status comparing to lily .in the end it's up to u , Just play any Character u like .

lol that Choco guy. I agree with FootCream pretty much for the little I read of the novel he wrote. I haven't done much pvp but I can't imagine after using her for hundreds of hours that she would stand out in pvp. For Stella, Lilly, and Iris your ultimate forces you to stand still and face the direction you used it. I don't know how it is for the other three, but anyone saying she's bad especially because of that is a downy lol since others do the same thing. I can't fully agree that she's the best class since I haven't played the other classes, but you just need gear just like any other character to be "good" at doing damage.
