calm down, for some P2W is only if you basicly can buy things that none players cant, for some its like what you said now, if you can spend money to get stronger ( speed it up ) for some anything thats not pay montly is P2W, so when Xxamiss said "Define ground rules for your subjective view of P2W please" you should have just said your view on it. will tell you what the shop have that could be p2w for you
Outfits you can get stats from with brooshes that you can buy from ingame shop that also give random stats if you equip a full grade set ( 3 of same color )
but you can get them ingame aswell

will this make you invinsible? no, if your crappy at gaming you will still die and think the game is horrible
so to make it short, the game for ME is ( pay 2 speed it up )
Too bad and the game is great.
all cash shop items will make you stronger infact not a lie cause you are getting special privileges making it alot faster than farming it
in other words its pay to speed it up theres nothing to win here cause its a PVE game
if you find the game enjoyable then play it if you find it not enjoyable then quit dont restric yourself to p2w this and p2w that you should at least try it yourself
Rotmg is a game with no pvp features but it's still pay to win because of devine pets. (Devine pets are basically just heal characters for absurd amounts every second).
Free to play players can still get devine pets but the time it takes is about a couple thousand hours of grinding. Or, you can pay to get them which means the game is indeed pay to win (since devine pets help players complete things they'd otherwise struggle with or couldn't do at all).
So if there was an item that would help players complete something they would have trouble with/had trouble with before, then the game is pay to win.
thats an intresting view on it, that would mean that for everyone that is casual or just not good at gaming everything is P2W, and for someone that think the game is easy its not?
// Update
from my point of view i think most games just get dumbed down more and more, its easier to get things and faster to "complete" it, and most shop items are for me pay to progress more then pay to win, becouse of the games/items i seen existed before i think its going forward.
one thing i dont think is right is the way they set prices on cash shop items but thats another story, but think the items themself is going forward ( ofcourse there is always that something, some games have )
// PS
back in the days ( yes im getting older ) outfits was time limits 7/14/30 days and had stats + drop/exp, pets had stats. there was even items that gave you cast speed and cooldown. you know what people did? they learned how to counter it. for people that couldt afford to buy the items they earned the money ingame to buy it.
today we get exp boosts and its suddenly P2W... oh well done with my nagging ^^
Drop rate, exp and money boosters are also all there. Even if they're marketable, these are advantages that can not be obtained without someone paying. The fact they're being sold just means someone wants easy and quick in-game cash by paying real money, which is not something a free player can or will ever be able to do.
The game is extremely P2W. People trying to defend it or say it isn't are in complete denial or massive shills.
