Just a ball game, why ?

It's just my opinion and i just came back from playing few matchmaking in the closed alpha

But it's sad to see just a one shot bomb game. With the ambiance, the robots and the map you made, i wished to see some close fight like the real robot tournament we all know, using saw, electric shock, punch, hammer and tons of tools to destroy your opponent.

Unless i missed a mode? i could'nt try the elimination mode

Thanks for giving your honest opinion! Elimination mode is the only mode in the closed Alpha currently- we have many more game modes to implement and test in future Alphas! This is more of a technical server test at this point- we know its a little simple and barebones currently. JackHammer won't be the kind of game which involves tons of different weapons, though- and is more focused on skillshots and accuracy. Hopefully future game modes (which will feature new mechanics, too!) will help flesh out the experience :) PS- You can do melee kills by charging a ball and "shunting" into your opponent. Adding more variety to the combat in this way is something we're working hard on.
