Are we ever getting an announcement for another game? I really dug the hell out of this one.

Same. I 100%ed the main game via game pass last year, and recently chose to double dip here on Steam. I'd love nothing more than to see Tripwire add to this in some shape or another.

One thing I'd love to see from this team is their own version of Primal. set in prehistoric times with cavemen and dinosaurs, and you play as a massive Tyrannosaurus rampaging through the jungles, devouring all that moves.

i would love a maneater 2, i acept even sugestions like "maneater 2 - africa lions"
but i dont think that will happen, the numbers arent "high" to make devs interested in make another game of this line.
even this maneater have big flaws like turtles, fishes and seals dont fleeing from you when you get near, the AI of enemys need improvment too. for instance.
i loved the game, dont get me wrong, but being realistic, the chances are pratically zero.

yeah Lion would be fun

then again, Lions live in Africa, and in 2020s its illegal and racist to show Africans in any way, so better just keep away from that, not to get cancelled
