I suggest look and EAT for biggest animals with fat symbol you see. Its a golden droplet

I find the best way to get stuff you need to evolve is to equip the tiger skin as well as any other bonus traits you can equip and then start getting all the collectables in an area.

Thats just the way I do it though, a lot less tedious than getting 40 per creature you eat until you get enough.

I was surprised by the fact that i didn't really have to grind anything even the mutagen which i thought would be a pain came easy.

Tiger Shark body + Fat Digestion trait.
Go hunt seals, marlins and swordfishes.
Pretty easy to grind like 20k fat in 10 minutes.

I usually equip stuff like that as I'm collecting all the various collectibles. I find it less tedious.
