Terrible Stuttering

I can run about anything on my PC. But this game. Every now and then, freezes for a couple seconds then unfreezes. It's soooooo annoying. I have tried everything on Low to High and it always does it.
NO other game does it. This game needs some optimization or something.
Anyone have these issues? And if so, any fix?

Now it doesn't even launch anymore (i play it through gamepass)... So safe to say this game is off the radar and off the wishlist. People should stop supporting broken games, this industry would be in a better place...

Ran as admin, sound was good, firewall was good, tried VSync, no difference. Also, I did notice that setting it to 60 FPS Vsync didn't cap my FPS, which was unexpected. I'm using a 144 hz monitor.

if not done already go into nvidia control or AMD control and set max fps to 144, 100 or 60 and see if that helps, i had an issue with MW5 that was going everyware with fps and was causing lag spikes, had to manually set the cap in nvidia control to make it work.

I got very heavy frame drops as well regularly. I have to stop swimming until it settles because if i do, mostly i end up changing direction.

64 GB RAM

I have the same issues. I9-10850K and RTX 3080 with 32GB of RAM. I'm running it from an NVME drive as well. If that can't get smooth performance I guess nothing will. The stuttering and freezing is completely random. My monitor supports 165hz and I have V Sync off.

It's recommended to turn V-Sync ON. I'm on minumum specs and have no stuttering at all.

I have tried both, they both stutter, I have tried so many different combinations, and no matter what I do, it stutters.
I reinstalled, and I now have 3060, and a 165hz monitor, 16gig and still stuttering, even on low.

Damn. Could be because of high resolution that game cannot cope with, IDK. I only have 1920x1080 and it rans fine.

Just bought the game and it's same here, terrible fps drop, especially during fighting hunters, think i should refund.

Just picked this up on sale. Fun!!...anyway, no stuttering here- AMD Ryzen 5900X, 3080ti FE, 32GB (3600) ram...installed on external WD Black DD....I'm gonna play a bit more and will update with any issues....:)

You seem to have posted this identical answer to every question regarding performance, stuttering, low framerate, etc...

Yet you seemed to have addressed none of these issues, a year later. The game stil runs horribly. This kinda feels like abandonware at this point to be honest

its just bad coded nothing else.
got it for free on epic and im glad i didn´t bought it with money.

i mean wtf cyberpunk runs on ultra with 70-110 fps and this game has so hard framedrops and sometimes freezing screens during fights.

and i dont understand that bec the people who made this game also made killing floor 2 which i played so hard without any crash or framedrops.

i started playing this this Week (on Epic) - i seem to have some stuttering as well as performance dips as well.
normally/most of the time it runs fine, 1440p120+ or so.
but yeah, from time to time, definitely sometimes when transitioning between areas, but also just inexplicably other times, there's a stutter. i wouldn't call it major but it happens.

additionally, performance does seem to momentarily dip in certain scenarios, such as large Water splashes.
i've tried turning down Settings that would most likely be related, like the View Distance and Effects Quality ones. hasn't seemed to make a difference.

9900K, 3060Ti, both with raised limits.
32GByte of high performance RAM.
game is on an NVME Drive.

It was kinda okay before I bought the DLC. After I bought it it became horrible even in old locations. Ryzen 5 3600, 32gb ram, RTX 2080 Super.
