i7-7700, RTX 2070 Super, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, SSD drive, 1080P Freesync monitor.
I have a Switch and I think I'm just gonna buy this on the Switch once the Switch version is on sale (I bet it'll be really cheap on Black Friday).
running on a i7 6700k, gtx 1080, 16gb ddr4, nvme drive and 3440x1440 gsync monitor
latest version of windows 10, latest nvidia drivers
Have this game on EGS and performance was horrible since the beginning.
Everything OP said was there from the when the game released 1 year ago.
i9 9900K, RTX 3090, Aorus Master Z390, 32 GB DDR4 dual channel, M.2 NVME 2TB storage, latest Windows 10 21H1 version, latest Nvidia driver.
It seems like it is not optimized at all.
Stutter when swimming around, horrible FPS drops, just to name a few issues.
It does not matter if I change settings, performance are mostly the same.
But thanks for reaching out, hopefully you can resolve this issue.
usually get about 100 FPS with an i7 and 2060 mobile with maxed settings, but for some reason, certain areas just tank it down to 50 or so, fights with hunters are slowed down as well, sometimes using sonar drops it down, I've tried High and Medium presets, and it still happens
Control panel > hardware & Sound > Sound > your audio device properties > advanced > default format setting
See if that helps and also check that your security has firewall allowance / run as admin
Ran as admin, sound was good, firewall was good, tried VSync, no difference. Also, I did notice that setting it to 60 FPS Vsync didn't cap my FPS, which was unexpected. I'm using a 144 hz monitor.
But I had it on a SSD, 165hz monitor, had an i7-7700k, 16gig, 1080.
I had checked all those before hand, with and without v-sync. And I turned off all sound at one point anyway, was sick of hearing it when I kept restarting.
You were able to finish the game despite the stuttering? Brother, I salute you. I hated the stuttering so much I uninstalled it after like 30 minutes of trying all different kinds of graphics settings with nothing working lol.
same problem with a r9 3950x, 32gb ddr4 3600mhz, rtx 2080 ti and a 1tb nvme evo 980 pro.
it ssucks that even with one year after release on the market
the devs brings the game on this state on steam.
