PS4 version warning

Since this game will not be available on Steam for another year, some potential fans may think of getting a console version, assuming you have a PS4 or Xbox One.

DO NOT GET THE PS4 VERSION. This version has a major issue which can delete your game saves without warning, sending you right back to the beginning of the game. Sometimes this results in the game crashing, but the issue can occur even without the crash. Until this issue is addressed, do not purchase the PS4 version.

xbox one version has crash issues but no save corruption that I have experience and I have been playing since launch nonstop

Bought it on ps4 bc i hate egs, horrible frame-drops, bad controls (mash R2 to bite seriously?), overheats ps4 like crazy.

Shame because i like the setting and playing as a shark is kinda cool, i would say that if you really want to play it pc is the only option.

I just hope they find a way to fix this problem. It seems strange that any game would release with such a glaring flaw. There are bugs with the other versions, but none are game-breaking. As it is, there is little point in playing the PS4 version of this game until it is fixed.

Wish I'd known about this before I bought the PS4 version. Arrives tomorrow, but I guess I'll see how buggy it is. Just hope it doesn't eat up my console now

You might be lucky. Not everyone has experienced the save-erasing bug. Just make sure you put the console somewhere well-ventilated to limit the overheating and be careful about how long you play.

Lol my ps4 doesnt overheat or anything while playing this game also have played this game for 2 days straight and i already completed it
