Is there a Godmode cheat?
I have a degenerative nerve disorder that affects my hands so I can't do all the fancy dancing around very well anymore. All the other dungeon crawlers, while it can be annoying, I can rest in, but this game features finite HP before you're game is toast..

My enjoyment of a game is exploration and story. I like the challenge of puzzles (unless they are highly tweaked timing puzzles). I just can't get my fingers to press a ton of buttons real fast without my fingers starting to shake badly and eventually cramping my hand.

I'm not downloading a trainer, not keen on getting my computer destroyed or my bank data stolen by a virus. There has to be some kind of developer console to activate. I really like the atmosphere and story of the game and would like to explore and enjoy that.

There is no god mode in Vaporum, but the closest thing to something like that is the “casual” difficulty setting. You get a lot less damage, the reaction time of the enemies is slower and if you combine it with the Stop Time Mode (if needed) you should be fine.

You can also support it with your character build by choosing the Emergency Shield Module in Servo Support circuit which give you a 5 second invincibility (with a cooldown) or the Regenerator module in the Complex Capacitor circuit or both.

Hope this will help you to enjoy the game more.

I'll give it a try. I played a lot of dungeon crawlers back in the day and never had an issue. Dungeon Master was one of the more annoying ones, but they all seemed to have a way to get around the most annoying difficulty mechanics. A lot of today's "old school" games seem to intentionally not do that because they center the games around the thought of manual dexterity being the sole source of difficulty. I'm more into story, puzzles, finding secrets with manual dexterity challenge being secondary.

This game's main mechanic of difficulty being strict HP management is a pretty novel idea, kind of makes me wish I could have played it when I was 20 instead of 50. lol

When I played this way back when it first came out, it seemed I took a lot more damage. I think Casual wasn't an option back then perhaps, or they changed it, because it's much more playable now, thank goodness. Having a lot of fun with it!
