Abrogator. How to charge it? Stuck?

So I got it all and im at the final barrier before the boss(?). It says I need to kill enemies but i've cleared out the whole tower and im not sure where more would spawn. I have checked a lot of different rooms and I can only remember 1 place with infinete enemies albeit they didnt get any more exp if you tried to farm them and I doubt that is the place I need to go (if it is I have no idea where it was exactly at).

Any help?

Have you tried using it on the barrier? I was in a similar situation and thought the same thing but just tried using it the way I got it and it appears it came pre charged.

I figured it out. I had to use the item on the barrier itself by dragging it out of my inventory. The character still stays he needs a charged Abrogater which confused me and made me think I needed to charge it.

I was expecting new enemies to spawn nearby after finding it. Instead it just comes fully charged and, as you said, the game still mentions charging it.

Huh, that's a bug. Yes, it comes fully charged, and if you use it on the barrier, the dude shouldn't say anything, not at this point.

Thankfully i have found this thread. Never ever i have used it this way. You really should clarify/ patch that asap :)

Nice end......the whole game is a sweet Hommage to Bioshock. Love it and have written a positive review.

I see. Do you find the description in the tooltip confusing? It mentions to use it just as a key. Which might not be the best of explanations on how to use that thing, I admit. :)

i understood i had to use it as a key. i thought i had to charge it, so i went around looking for something to kill.
