Waterworks puzzle

I'm at the Waterworks [5,19] and standing before a red door with a corridor. There are 2 button nearby at [4,21] (to open the door at [6,21]) and [4,17] (to close the pit at [5,19]). I even use the Basic Server Booster to get more speed, but i cannot do it in time. I first open the door swith, run to the close pit switch and run to the door, which closes at my last step before getting through. What am i missing?

I'm not sure you are missing anything. I just came here to look for the same answer. Finally, after seeing that someone on YouTube did it with just the buttons, I managed to, after a few more attempts. Must have taken me at least a dozen, if not more, to do it, though.

Lost of people losing time with turns, dont do it, just look same direction (in this case face to button) and you can do it only with mouse clicks and WSAD.

I'm not using direction keys. But i finally got it.

I am sure this puzzle is quite doable with a swift rig and fairly youthful coordination. However, I am lacking the second of these two attributes, so while I like the game a lot so far, this puzzle is a deal killer. After over 20 attempts, I am bidding it adieu.

I cannot beat this puzzle too, even after 20 tries.
Does time depends on FPS or something because it looks like my movement is slow however I use WSAD only?

Don't turn, and rush your keystrokes; since the game is step-based you don't have to wait for one movement to be completely finished before you give input for the next.

Stuck in the same level, I did it like in the video, it doesn't work, I think it's really too difficult

You must be precise, no mistakes, otherwise you cant make it. But you can turn on the stop-time mode and try it with less stress :) But still, you need do it like it is shown on the video.

It's too hard for me also. I'm sorry I was liking the game up till then but this is just so frustrating

use the time stop mechanic and don't turn.

Walk sideways!
Watch the map, and count your steps!

Have already played Heroes of the Monkey Tavern, which has the same kind of puzzle,
with the same solution! It's a meme across genres!

Ugh, I hope there isn't more of this crap. I'm loving the game except for stuff like this, which I can never figure out without looking up in a walkthrough.

There is lots more of it.

In the next 7 levels, you can expect to see this sort of thing ... 40 times?
Recalibrate to love it. It is this genre of game.
