Hello;

I cannot run the game.

I downloaded and installed it, but after the setup screen, the only thing I get is a black screen that freezes the game forever. The only way I can get back is using ALT+F4 or forcing the program to shutdown using Task Manager. Is there anything I'm not doing properly?

Try change the executable's compatibility. To do this open the game's locale (Steam\steamapps\common\Graze Counter\), right click the game's executable (GRAZE COUNTER.exe) and click 'Properties'. Click the Compatibility tab and check 'Disable fullscreen optimizations'.

Let me know if it works for you or not.

Did you finish Direct X and .NET Framework installation properly?
(They automatically start after the game setup)

They didn't automatically start when I first loaded the games. Can I do it manually?

I double checked here, I' m running on NET Framework 4.7 and DirectX 12.

Just figured out what' s causing the issue.

I have a Xbox One joystick. If I try to run the game with wht joystick on/connected, it doesn' t run at all. I get the same black screen if I turn on the joystick if the game is running.

The game runs, but unfortunately I couldn' t use my joystick with it at all.

More tests:

Same thing happens to the Xbox 360 USB wired joypad and with any USB joypads I plug in.

Is there a way of playing this game using a joypad?

This game is tested with Xbox 360 gamepad and Xbox one gamepad. They should work.

May be file corruption or problem with your system.
Can you once uninstall the game and try reinstall?
At the first boot or after installing the game, DirectX 9.0c runtime and .NET framework 3.5 are automatically installed (if they are not installed yet) Even if you have installed newer versions, please do not cancel the installation, those versions are needed.

Just wanted to chime in here. Using a DS4 with SCPtools (emulator for Xbox controllers) and I have (had) the same problem. I found turning off the steam overlay helped 90% of the time. But once I hit this black screen problem I need a full system restart and that seems to clear it up for some time.

Also: You can die after you kill the second boss because his death doesn't cancel the large square bullets.

PS4パッド、XBOX360パッド、HORI FIGHTING COMMANDER(PS4)を接続した状態だと、画面が黒くなったまま進行停止。
PS4パッドを外すと動作。

という現象があります。出来れば解決頂けると有り難いです。

Thank you for reporting game pad problems.
It seems the game does not launch with 3 or more game device connected to PC.

We've fixed the problem and now testing it.
If you want to test it, open game property and join beta version.

2 x Keyboard
Game always starts now, no issues.

Edit: Ah, new bug for ya.
My scores with type 7 apear under type 8 in the beta. Type 2 works fine, haven't tested them all yet.
