1) You don't get rid of it, you collect it. Each one is worth junk in the number on the chip (e.g. 32k chip = 32,000 junk).
2) I've played a couple of games on it, I never noticed a battery metre, let alone it going flat.
3) Eventually they will run out of items, I'm not sure if they restock after completing areas, but it's easy enough to travel back there and check during the rest of the game.
4) Dunno. I didn't even know it existed until it was free on Epic, so there is an exposure issue atleast.
I think...
1. No marketing. If its not for the Ep!c Store giving this game, maybe i will never know about the existence of Horace.
2. The escapist made a sh#t review of this game on Yo#tube. Sadly this is the most viewed video of the game there and it gave to several people a bad impression of this game.
Thanks Ep!c for the game, and Paul Helman to make it. Your game is amazing.
Funny enough it was thanks to Yahtzee that I found out about this game, and thankfully I kept an open mind and didn't consider that Yahtzee was gonna be so totally right about the gameplay being crap, which unsuprisingly it wasn't it was actually quite good. So maybe Yahtzee just hasn't gotten good at games ever or maybe I'm just really good. Either way the gameplay's not bad its super great.
I got my own question, how do you get the Games Master achievement? Some people've gotten it but not many and obviously I don't know who and I don't have any idea how to get it. It's the only other achievement I'm missing besides Trial By Fire which I can tell is for the other final choice.
I have the achievement. You have to get a high score on "all" the arcade games. I put all in quotes, because it's not actually all of them. There are a few rare machines that you don't have to do. I'd recommend just going to one of the regular arcades and getting a high score on each of the machines there, and hopefully you'll get the achievement.
(As an aside, the name of the achievement is a reference to the name of an old gaming TV show/magazine over here in the UK. The TV show involved players competing against each other for high scores, IIRC.)
It's sad because it is one of the best games I've played. I just finished it today and the story really hit me. The creators were masterful.
yoooo thanks man
edit from future: Just got it, you only need to do the first 4 arcade games from Mainton. Which is Hungry Ghost, Anabolics, Dance Invader, and Rad Racer.
You gotta beat the highscore that the games have at the top of the screen.
If you don't beat it, then your score means squat.
nnnnnnh how bout you do guitar hero next
im not entirely sure just go doublecheck
Ohhhh you tried to do it early
Nah nah I don't think you can do this early game, come back to the arcade after you've beaten the game and THEN do this achievmeent
