Stuck on mansion air boss battle

It just seems to repeat the same three phases forever (books in wind you jump to avoid, volley of missiles that you then pick one up to throw into the suction, long continuous volley of missiles)

Do I just need to do that enough times or am I missing something you need to do to progress? I've managed to do the cycle 5 or 6 times before dying now.

It took me a minute to figure out what was going on, too.

The first missile you toss into the light the books are sucked into to, then while the boss is rotating, you take another missile and try to hit the highlighted spot. Eventually you move onto the next phase.

Right, thanks that sorted it out. Could maybe use a comment from the robot about blocking the other engine.
