Still plodding through the game. Will update as I discover more.


Outer Wall: Fly through a narrow gap between two large asteroids along the bottom of the screen towards the end of the level to earn the secret. You'll know it when you see it. It's just big enough to fit your fighter through.

Cyclades: Very easy. Collect the astronaut walking on the surface at the beginning of the level to earn this secret.

Forgotten Lab: There's a dark, hollow area past the ceiling of the building you're flying through about 3/4 through the stage. Once you're "outside" of the building, fly up and backwards to reach it and earn this stage's secret.

Orbital Tree: There's a small open space at the bottom of the level towards the end of the stage, inhabited by two white flower pods. Destroy them and fly into the gap to earn the secret. Be quick: they respawn fast.

Deep Space: Do not destroy the boss right off the bat. After firing several times, one of its four shots will be in the shape of a heart. Touch the heart (it's harmless) and you'll earn the secret. The boss then flees, allowing you to collect the stage's power-up without destroying it.

Rubina: At the final section of the level, fly through a narrow gap at the upper front of the floating gold cavern without having destroyed any of the jewel turrets. The secret will then be yours.

Dunarys: Right at the end of the second half of the level (before the "boss" encounter), there's an open space along the bottom of the level. Fly into it. A harmless flower will jump up from the sand, earning you the stage's secret.

Verminest: About 3/4 through the stage you'll see a pterodactyl skeleton along the ceiling. Fly into the crook of its neck where it meets the ceiling to earn the secret.

Galactic Inferno: After defeating the final boss of this stage (the War Core itself), the area around you will begin to explode. Do not collect your new power-up right away! Wait a few moments and a platform at the bottom of the area will fall away, revealing a shaft that contains a dinosaur egg. Collect the egg, then collect your new power-up to end the level.

Untulia: Towards the end of the level is a small pink elephant walking along the bottom of the stage, surrounded by red spiked enemies that split apart horizontally when destroyed. It can be difficult to reach, but collect it, and the stage's secret is yours.

Path of Scylla: in the third section of this long, difficult level, take the left path as you descend down the serpent-filled chasm. There's a small gap along the rock wall as the split in the paths ends. Fly into this gap and you'll earn the secret.

Storm Eye: Similar to Deep Space. Free the robot from the liquid silver entity, but do not destroy it. Allow it to fire at you several times. One of its three shots will then be in the shape of a heart. Touch the heart and the secret is yours. The boss then flees, allowing you to collect the stage's power-up without destroying it.

Red Eden: Simply fly into the gap between transports along the ground, right in front of the transport carrying the Hydorah statue to earn the secret for this stage.

Underground Base: Towards the end of the third section of the level is a section where four yellow barrel-like enemies will roll up and down within a room. Just past the first pair, fly through a narrow gap between two grey barrels along the upper half of your screen.

Charybdis: Towards the end of the level you'll have to navigate a second set of claustrophobic terrain moving back and forth in a wave pattern. Along the ceiling is a gap. Fly into that gap into earn this stage's secret.

Silent Tomb: Just a little ways into the level you'll see an upside-down (but intact) derelict cruiser at the top of the screen. Simply fly into the open space between the bridge and the hull to earn the secret.

Besieged Moon: Just a little ways into this stage you'll come across two long strips of rock along the bottom of the screen. Fly between them to trigger the appearance of the Moon Stone, then back up to collect it, earning this stage's secret.

Moa-Urdz: Past the first cluster of spiked "mines", fly into the gap at the front of the large green sphere to collect your secret.

Black Gate: (Note that you will need the Light "special weapon" from Rubina here) After descending for some time in the second part of this level, take a branching path to the far right. A section of the wall here will be slightly discolored and can be destroyed. Inside is a treasure chest. Collect it to earn the secret.

No Mercy: When facing the final boss (which initially disguises itself as a friendly cruiser), fly right above its bridge section to claim the secret.

Meropticon: Following the first mini-boss, pass the first organic-looking section and watch the moving blocks. They will shift to allow you to slip into a conspicuous hollow section along the ceiling. Fly into that spot to earn the final secret of the game.
