It was! And yeah I feel like that game is still ahead of this one that came 23 years later.

No its a recreation. They said it was written in C# and uses the FNA engine.
Exactly. But it uses the assets from the original game so it looks identical. There's even an option to turn the bugs from the original on it off.
You're very welcome! Also the brother of the guy who's making the modern MMR port is working on his own port of Lode Runner 2, so I'm interested to try that out when he finally releases it.

If you click "History" tab, you can see when this game was added and deleted. Maybe they have just made a mistake with release date, and will put it back anytime soon.
