Also, Tozai owns the rights to Lode Runner, but when TLR and MMR were made, Presage Software owned the rights, so while people will probably use the included level editor to try and recreate some of those levels (if they haven't already), you won't see the content from those games included officially.

Well, like I said, that was made by a different company and Tozai doesn't own the rights to those games. You can always download the game free from one of the links I posted above to get your fix of the Presage games, though.
The fan-remake of MMR at http://mmr.quarkrobot.com is the closest you'll get to that. The engine runs on modern systems in widescreen resolutions, and uses the same art assets from the original. The guy's brother is also working on a re-write of the Lode Runner 2 engine and will hopefully be releasing the first version soon.

If you click "History" tab, you can see when this game was added and deleted. Maybe they have just made a mistake with release date, and will put it back anytime soon.
