All Walls Must Fall

"Click to move somewhere" doesn't work - Arch Linux and BSPWM
So I can click on all UI elements just fine and the window can be resized and has no problems with resolution etc. However, I can't click anywhere in the world to move, left or right. Also, I cannot use edge panning.

Love the game even though I can't play it haha, congrats!

Hmm, very strange! Are you playing fullscreen? Try toggling between fullscreen, windowed, and windowed fullscreen and see if one of them fixes it.

Though if you can click on the UI that's probably not the issue. Can you see the highlighted tile under the mouse? Can you pan the camera with WSAD?

Okay so. Anything using the keyboard works fine, panning, rotation etc.

BSPWM has full screen and tiled window modes which can mess with games pretty badly, but your game worked fantastic out of the box. Your modes don't really do anything as BSPWM hijacks it or something, but when I fullscreen the game in bspwm your game reacts perfectly.

Regardless, I did try all the different modes, and it didn't seem to have any effect. The UI still worked perfectly in all cases and combinations though. There wasn't even a sound effect for clicking, or any sort of feedback that I moused over something in the world. However, when I moused over the UI elements (health I think?) the tooltip was offset weirdly. I have a feeling bspwm may have messed that around, but can't imagine why when it knows where my mouse is to even display the tooltip in the first place?

I'm just about to play the game on my Windows installation as I'm excited, but I'll help you whenever I can as I love it that you're trying to support Linux (and even though I barely played the game it ran amazingly well!)

Just to follow up, I have seen what you mean where you can see the highlighted tile under the mouse, and there is absolutely no indication of this on my Arch Linux version. Other people on steam have said the game doesn't even load so I guess I'm lucky that its amazing for me, hopefully whatever is happening can be ironed out :)

I have played quite a lot of games on linux with bspwm, so even if it is my window manager messing around with the mouseover location, there is probably something you can try on your end as this is the only game I've played where my mouse location isn't being read properly etc. Let me know if you want me to send screenshots or do anything tester-y :)
