Does the size of the company mean anything?

If you go to a stock you can only Lobby/put lobbyists on, you can see some of them have a size variation:

A country is going to do good, I click it, on the right I see the companies and some have a larger "square" than others. Does that mean they are more or less affected by the material/resource/commodity?
