Thank you your help so far. So this is what I'm seeing in this section of the san11sire program. Could you possibly give me a rundown on how to locate and change the officers? I'm not sure I'm even in the right section.
That's why I asked :)
Finally I can change the custom names!
For anyone finding this later....
Here is where I got the San11SIREelite(eng) Editor...

Shoutout to CowBoyCoy for putting that together.
1. open editor --> click blue checkerboard box on top ribbon --> tooltip says edit .s11 files
2. Click "MakeData" in top section.
3. Navigate to your save data. For me, it's... Documents -> Koei -> San11 Tc -> SaveData
4. open MakeData.s11 (only folder in file for me)
5. This should load up any custom officers you have created so far. At this point you can double click the name, hit ok, it'll open another window where you can change their names.
6. Don't forget to save changes or the names will still be in TC
7. Note: when you play in game, characters appear to be limited to 4 per name/surname.
So, my Lord Magnus was just LordMagn.
Hope this helps others. Good luck all
