English patch finished!

Starting a full eng patch translation for this game.
Working with the old version atm (testing phase).
But will move to Steam version when it's done. Anyone interested ?

Hard to tell. I finished the project, and move to rtk9.

Ask a friend with the steam version to test. But steam prevent me to tweak the exe file. Just change 1 text inside the exe file (menu text...), and steam refuse to run the game. I tried with another game like Kenshi, it doesnt like that.
So if it's true that Steam prevent user to touch the exe file, it will be very hard to change the lang. Because most of the menu text, hero name... is inside the exe file. There will have to be some solutions like alter the memory (quite complex solution), or bypass steam client...
As it seem not many ppl playing this game at the moment. I will support if someone want to play the non-steam version. Which cant run on win10, and need mount things...

You can just googgle : igg rtk 10
But beware. Install the old game to run well nowaday is no easy task. Many warriors failed the challenge.

i install old Rotk X + PuK, install old eng patch (i dunno, if its complete patch or not), but the game dont start under win10

You are correct. Old version dont run with win10. You need to use winxp or win7. The best solution is use VMware or virtual box with winxp image (around 1gb size).

Progress : finished long ago. Moved to rtk9 puk translation project (also done).

Bad news : I tried with the steam version, ask a friend though, I dont have it (there is no reason to buy it if I cant mod it right). Steam prevent a modified exe from running. So a steamless or crack version may work. But I dont intend to do so.

And he confirm that this version is very well ported. japanese version. run ok win10. I will soon check it. Easy to setup.

Wow that's great! Can we download the working version somehow??Is it available somewhere?I am on win7, can I run the non steam version? If so, where to find it in Japanese non steam one??Damn should work with the steam version
