English patch finished!

Starting a full eng patch translation for this game.
Working with the old version atm (testing phase).
But will move to Steam version when it's done. Anyone interested ?

In theory, game was almost translated (at least it was playable). But it was the old version and the patch doesnt work with the steam version

Ya mee too. I bought it, then refunded. Just to check if the messages files are the same with the old ones. But forget to check if I modified the exe file, it will still run ok. Still got the binary files, but cant run it now.

I just made a simple translate. Just only the main menu text (Load game, scenario...).

There's no need. As I prefer to play the game in older version. As it support better with PKLoader for (child,general create) and san editor for edit anything you want. I just need someone already have the game do some testing for me. I compared the exe files, massages files, they are quite the same, so port the patch from old version to steam version will just like a Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. Unless steam decide to check every bit of the exe file, and refuse to run if we change some text inside.

If you want the old version, pm me. I will show you. Although install the old version can be a little tricky. Cant run with win10, need daemon mount...

Adding you, I know you cant run it on w10 cause I managed once to barely run it (on virtualbox) but a guide would be nice

To tell you the truth, I dont really know... It didnt work for a long time (something graphic-card related) but when I loaded up last time it worked like a charm. If you follow the igg instructions on a VM of windows xp with chinese installed, it should work
