this was one of the games i was looking forward to when i got my pc. i enjoyed playing this on the playstation 2. if like me you only speak in english then dont get this game.

You still need to change your location to Japan to run this game. Plus, I got a message each time(after first success) on start screen in Japanese, saying (Google translated) "Sound initialization failure" and forced quit. Bah, KOEI's remake is the worst, and I'm worrying about IX, X and XI...

I am saddened that this game is only available in Chinese or Japanese. I would give this game a much higher rating if there were an English translation or another language at least (German, Spanish). I know the PUK wasn't released in English but the PS2 version was and was by far probably the best of the RotTK series. My only hope that someone creates a patch for English translation for those of us with lesser skill to do so.

I love this game; so many hours spent on the PS2 version. I've bought it here in the hopes of a translation one day, but so far none. I'm finally writing a review as its the only power I have to try to get Koei to bring the English version to PC.

A fan made translation is in progress, and I'm at the point where I'm looking to do one myself just so that I don't feel like this game is a waste

Best one out of all the series.
Been waiting for this bad boy to go on Steam.

Comes with power up kit, which includes:
- Custom scenarios
- Kids with wife (if you get one)
- Editing generals
- New strategic campaign mode

This is my favorite ROTK game. You will need some tweaks to your system settings to see the text correctly. For Windows 10, Control Panel\Clock and Region\Administrative -> Language for non-Unicode programs -> Change system locale...

Pity this game don't work in Win10. It was a good game. All text are shown as mumbled symbols and ??? and the dialog box simply does not show and hang the game.
