After working with rtk8, I look into rtk7 and it seem very alike. So I dicide to test a bit. It's really interesting though. The image is quite the same with 8 version, so I can reuse the tools. The message use LS11 encode, same with 9 version.

The scenario files are encode with 4 mask. Almost give up on this. Cant find where they store the hero names, item, city... Then I test around, Try to change the hero stat, save and check, only 1 byte, change, but not the normal way. So I figure out they just use some easy encode.

So far I already extract all the data, and the game can fully translate to english.
The nice thing about rtk7 is it can display well without chinese region. unlike 8th version. So the text look better.

I just make a simple demo. Hope you like it. I will come back with this project when I have time and some people really like it.

* Made some update. The main CITY UI are all translated. Action likes Buy,sell, donate, spy,visit, gift,letter, recruit, march... trade, farm, tech, forge...
Check the link in first post, I update some images there.
* Each general Rank (ruler,prefect,advisor, general, ronin) have its own City UI, that's really a lot of work. And the messages when we choose each actions are different between ranks. So it will take times to finish the translation.
* You can download and see the current work. I updated the latest work. And give me some comments. That will help a lot.

The ROTK 7 picture you got shown near the bottom surrounded by the ROTK 8 ones, is perfect, looks like the Playstation 2 copy, your doing great and im very happy.

Yes I'm using the ps2 version for reference (pcsx2 emulator).

I mean if you look at his webpage hes got going, hes done considerable amount of work, hes a literal hero. I would love to have his skills and help a community out like hes doing, which is why I will totally donate once its completed and working.

please and kindly, focus on this cause theres gonna be remake of RoTK 8. This one would also complete my PC collection of all the Greatest RoTK RPGs that KOEI has ever made.
