Or I could do with traditional chinese version too! VII is worth getting again because combat actually had strategic depth and the siege mechanic is unique...

Damn. . . I looked up ROTK so that I could have an idea of when VII would drop. I can't believe not only did I miss the release, but it's not in English. There goes my hopes and dreams of buying this version 8 and 9 so now I guess I no longer need to have faith in KT since this was my entry to the series and I have so many good memories of this and it's a shame I can't relive them.

VII is my favorite too ... also eager for an eventual English trans version. I understand there probably isn't a lot of money in it for KT, but obviously given the PS2 editions an English translation of the games exists ... I would think it would be a reasonably easy project to implement. Anyway, I'd easily pay as much as 20-25 for a decent English PC version.

Agreed. Same with the others since KT is busy with newer games to go back to the old ones. Though KT of Europe stated if people would like to see them stream older KT games so maybe if enough hype or stuff is brought to their attention then we could see it happening.

how hard would it be to make a english patch? the translation is already done and exists, what would it take to rip it and bring it over? How many man hours do you think?

Well they would also have to translate the PUK and I'm assuming that alone is probably too much work. Let alone them trying to get a copy of ROTK VII on PS2 (Since I doubt they have the files/data anymore) to reverse engineer to get the text.

They probably assume it's not worth the effort. Either way while not the same there are a few spiritual successors eager to take the place of ROTK on Steam and in English including the upcoming Total War Game so this series won't be in my mind as much.

I dont even need the PUK, even though that would be nice..just the base game that already exists on ps2 needs the pc port

Agreed 100%. Though I don't think we can expect this to happen from KT unless they are going to port it to consoles and I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
