Somehow this game is even worse when actually playing it. Like it has almost an uncanny valley thing but in terms of game play. It *almost* feels like a solid game, but it has all these slight flaws due to how unpolished and desolate the game is that become more and more obvious the more you play... I'm honestly somewhat impressed. The second boss is where it all really starts to crumble apart.

I can think of something worse than the New Bubsy game; The Failed Pilot Episode of the Bubsy Cartoon Show. The only success of these Sonic Like Mascots is Gex. There was no quality control in the 1990s:

It's great to see how much Accolade cares about their properties, isn't it? I particularly like when Bubsy lands INSIDE the bosses and dies.

At least the robots on the Woolies ship-meteor-THING look like they're trying to poke Bubsy with orange dildos. It at least has that going for it.
