Injustice 3 speculation

Seems like Ed Boon is interested in making a sequel to this game once M1K reaches end-of-life, so there's probably some point in speculating on what we should expect from a third Injustice game

I guess to start off the thread, I'll post my predictions on what will happen and why it'll happen, though i might also throw in some personal wishes too

Main focus will be the Dark Multiverse
Ever since Dark Nights Metal, it is apparent to me that DC really loves the idea of having evil versions of Batman with the superpowers of other DC heroes and villains. While it might seem creatively bankrupt, I think it'd be worth having in a fighting game perspective due to some characters being absent in I2 while others have died in the events of I1 (i.e: Shazam's movelist could be adapted into a Bruce Wayne version of Sabbac, or The Devastator having Doomsday's moves. I could also see Sinestro being adapted into a black/green Dawnbreaker)

M1K Kameos will be in I3
I feel like that the kameo/striker system would fit perfectly in a superhero-themed fighting game, and all they'd have to do is rebrand kameos as sidekicks. Dunno what else to say besides guess who I think will be in the sidekick roster, so here we go:

Superman (also playable)
Batman (also playable)
Harley Quinn (also playable)
Deadman (see Injustice 1 comic series)
The Joker (technically playable via Batman Who Laughs)

P.S.: Can we have Clayface be a playable character? I wanna think he'd be perfect as an Injustice counterpart to MK's Shang Tsung. Hecc, Shang Tsung proper could work as a DLC skin for him.

I hope they do Injustice 3, since I'm a much bigger Injustice fan than I am of MK. Just saying...
