Injustice 2 - Steam - 28/09/2022 - This was one of the first games I tested on Windows since I got my Steam Deck. Unfortunately, it didn't work and crashed-out during the loading splash screen.
However, today I've found a fix. You will need to download a few things;
1. 7zip or equivalent - Get the x64 version here https://www.7-zip.org/
2. DXVK - You might know this from Proton (hehe). I used Version 1.10.3. The file is called dxvk-1.10.3.tar.gz - Get it here https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
Instructions;
1. Install 7zip.
2. Using 7zip, extract dxvk-1.10.3.tar.gz - You need to do this twice to fully unpack it.
3. Copy all the extracted files in the x64 folder (d3d9.dll, d3d10.dll, d3d10_1.dll, d3d10core.dll, d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll). I don't think you actually need all of them, but, this is how I got it to work.
4. Paste these files into your Injustice 2.exe folder. The folder location;
SteamLibrary/SteamApps/Common/Injustice2/Binaries/Retail
5. Press Play!
If you get the controller bug, where you can only move down the menu and in-game you keep jumping to the left, then, try this;
Go to your Windows user folder and open the file: AppData\Injustice2\UserSettings.ini
Where it says DirectInput=On change it to off. Save the file and PLAY!
I tested this game on an external hard drive, it runs well, but, you will get faster loading times and possibly less stutters running on SSD.
Note: This game will also use your desktop graphics settings, so you might need to set it up to suit your Steam Deck. I also haven't explored a way to see the frame-rate, but, Steam's built-in frame-rate counter doesn't work.
