Screen size malfunctioning

When I go into the game (starts in fullscreen), I end up getting a small screen in the middle of my monitor with black all around it. I've tried using autoconfig as well as setting the screen options myself through launch options. I've also tried going into windowed mode (and also back again) but the most it does is make the screen wider. I've also tried the screen settings in game but the game is only gaining access to that small bit of my monitor.

This worked the first time but every subsequent time it's been giving me this issue. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it?

It suddenly started working after a while. I spent a good amount of time trying to fix it.

I think I finally figured it out!! First: open the game and go to the *Graphics Settings*, then: all you have to do is click on the *defaults* option, and at some point, it'll just--snap back into place. I can't explain this crap for the life of me. But it works and it's what I did.

Going into graphics settings while in-game should allow you to resize the screen width, worked for me

Try checking that your display settings are set to borderless
