There's a seasonal sale every three months,as well as "holiday"/special occassion sales throughout the year.
Also watch for Fanatical when they have it on sale again.
Hmmm, $50 for standard and $80 for UE is more expensive than here?? I didn't realize the same price was more expensive, but ok.
I picked up my UE from GMG for $60, so just like on Steam, you'll have to wait for a sale. GMG has also had it on sale more often than Steam, so yeah, more expensive. :P
Here's a GMG related example: GMG had a 10 year standing voucher for all members residing in Australian and New Zealand. The code never changed, and you could use it with every purchase.
The reason for the voucher?: Between the distributors, publishers, governments, etc., certain games licensed for sale to AUS/NZ had a massive mark up (sometimes 60+%), so GMG decided to take one for the team, and give a standing 30% off discount when using the voucher, but only on games designated with ANZ on store title.
Even with the discount, the game would still cost you 30+% more than someone living in another region, and then you have to take currency conversion into account.
Fanatical related example: Half the time, fanatical price their games by region by literally using the dollar and euro signs interchangeably (i.e. US$1 = 1€ ), but maths doesn't work that way, so immediately those games cost you more in countries using the Euro. Then, of course, you need to pay your region specific VAT, or tax for making the purchase.
So yeah, back to my point, GMG can be more expensive than Steam, even when they're having a sale.
Seeing as you’re Argentine, it’s probably your best bet, since you won’t be dealing with US currency conversion
Nah, Nuuvem is from Brazil and I paid less on GMG than it was offered at Nuuvem at the time, being Brazilian.
I'm not sure about Argentinians, and if those shops have specific conversion for their currencies, but the best bet is to get it on sale on GMG combined with a cupom, they always have a cupom that is valid during sales, giving the best discounts on newest titles.
