Shaders and Source crystals Q.
Hello there. I got this game recently and I have few questions. If u have time to answer it would be very appreciated.

1. Same Shader name. For example :there is a Tournament Shader for Sub Zero and same name and look of a shader for Batman. If I purchase the Batman one, will it be available also for Sub Zero? Or its tied for that specific character only?

2. How many source crystals did u guys got max from the game? I mean I bought Legendary edition and found out I have to pay more for some fokin shaders? Really? Is this a mobile game? Also pay for infinite transforms dlc 10€ more? Oh boi.... Very disappointing.

3. Can I get some cool shaders from boxes, or only common ones?

4. Can I get a gear from a single fights?

I think thats it... I hesitated to buy Injustice 2,because I own the first one, and I prefer MKX over the Injustice. But I gave it a try, so far it looks good, got some random crashes lul (no fix for it) but not so many, so its playable. Trying to max Sub Zero, Im like 26 now, and then I'll move to next char... Gear system looks ok-ish, but Im very disappointed to see more micro transaction in it... Thank you for reading/answering and Have A Nice Day :supergirlemblem:

There are scripts you can run that do that for you, and once you have that all setup, its like just coming home at the end of the day to check how much your champs grinded out lol. Of course, you need them to have your champ at least around level 18, and with the best gear.

Oh and the other worse part is that you have to wait for the multiverse to spit out the event for your particular favorite champ. These events are your best way to unlocking EPIC level gear, and some custom EPIC level gear. The usual matches don't drop them much.

Once you finish all that, you can take your champ to try and finish the Legendary Multiverse event for that champ. Just to unlock the legendary multiverse for that character is an insane grind with hefty requirements. Depending on your favorite character you are aiming to complete, the grind can be insane (like 400 wins, x number of epic gear sacrificed for the event etc).

3. Yes, you can! You can also get gear as well.

4. Yes, you can! But its highly unlikely that you will get EPIC gear drops though. So your focus for the single fights should just be to level up your champ. Once that is done, hit the multiverse event for the champ. You will be able to unlock the particular gear needed.

Oh and sometimes, the event can be difficult to beat. USE AI option!!! They will finish it. If your use the right AI spec, your champ becomes almost impossible to beat.

I guess I should now also state my view of the game. As a result of the above, I felt like I was just grinding rather than having fun playing it. Perhaps its my fault for relying on the AI option for the most part. However, its not like I can just try it myself because loosing in the multiverse event has a penalty to your score!! Too much of a penalty, and you won't unlock what you played the event for. You have to start the event again from the start then. That is just too much of a grind right there!!

Then there is the question of what the heck is it that I am trying to accomplish. It felt like I was grinding to essentially play dress up with my favorite champs lol! So yeah, my advise would be to just enjoy the SP story line, and just call it quits (unless you are a pro). If you are a pro, hit up MP, otherwise, the people playing are just too good and have probably been playing the game for ages!

Hello there! Thank you very much for your answer. I think this game is bigger grind than Gta V lul. I saw some legendary multiverse req. and wow, insane. But as you said, I'm a type who wants to have all of those shiny shaders, gear and stuff that you can get, but I guess I just need to focus to have a fun Instead. But this is very sad what they did to Injustice 2. Hope with new MK 11 they won't be that greedy... Maybe they will add loot boxes to Batman's Arkham games too lol. About MP, I played MKX a bit, like 500 matches, but in this one I'm not sure. I mostly play against AI on medium/hard. Pitty you can not fast forward in multiverse when your AI char. fight against PC. And that ENTER to continue... Hehe. I tried mp when i was lvl 16, guy selected a 16 lvl char to match me. When he almost lost to me (one punch and he's dead) he immediately switched to his maxed char to beat ♥♥♥♥ out of me, so yeah MP is a nope untill I get some geared/maxed fighter to compete with... If I ever get one... So yeah I hope It won't happen the same thing to me like with Gta V. I told myself why the hell am I even grinding this? , it makes no sense anymore, so I stopped playing Gta V online completely, and oh man, I felt a lot better. I do grind in games, but sometimes they are so greedy with prices and requirements to do, that I just rather stop than Force myself to play it and continue to grind. If you absolutely must have every shader and whatnot, there are other methods... I'll let you google them though... The game is basically abandoned at this point, so I don't think it's much of an issue... Otherwise, you won't get that many source crystals... enough for 3 premium shaders at most.

Also, unfortunately, even if you get everything in-game, these idiots (I mean WB & NRS) either forgot or decided to not include the "god" & "demon" shaders that you get on the Ultimate pack... and there's no way to buy them unless you buy some pretty expensive DLC, or the ultimate pack... u_u

Plus, there are some gear sets that are no longer available unless you participated in a 2017 event... Sadly it seems they never cared to add the event to the rotation, so any new players from 2018 & on can't acquire the Justice League gear sets (except for WW's which can be acquired in regular boxes).

There you go, that's all the info there is to know about gears and shaders.

Yeh, I found out that those shaders are not included in Legendary E. I guess we need another level of game editions like Ultra Legendary or Apocalyptic to include all dlc's and buy able content... And It's not that I really need all shaders and stuff, I'm just sad you can not achieve / earn it ingame by playing. Also the prices are ridiculous for a shader packs. I would maybe, maybe pay like 2€ for 30K crystals. Just this greedy practices makes me wanna puke. Did not even know there were gear sets you can not get now... Amazing. Thank you for your time too mate, appreciated. I guess I'll just google that stuff out...

Sure, no problem. Also, and btw, those "other methods" I mentioned can also help considerably with the grind... I kinda wish I knew about them before I spent 900 hours leveling up all characters... u_u
