Downloadable content blocking everything?

I feel like an absolute moron having this issue, but I can't seem to play anything because the 'Downloadable Content' screen keeps coming up whenever I pick a mode.

There is NOTHING I seem to be able to do aside from hitting A or a key, which brings up the focused item in the Steam store for purchase, or I can B/cancel.

That's all I can do. How do you play this game for gods sake?????

This game used to work great, but now, it is unplayable.

Fixed the issue but honestly forgot what it was. I'm sorry I'm of no use.

I want to say I plugged in a 2nd controller or unplugged my 2nd controller. Something like that.
