Either do a private match and send a direct invite (these games will not show up in your public game profile) or meet up in a room and challenge one another (this games will show up).

At main menu click online, once at the next menu click private match. Then simply select the game mode you want and invite the people you want.

There is no crossplay, so it's impossible (it's a pity, especially that e.g. SFV has got such option).
