Starting in Windowed Mode

How do I start the game in Windowed mode? I know I've got to edit something in the properties of the game from steam but I don't know how.

Just run it in full screen and change the settings in the main menu then reboot. That's what I did to get mine in window mode.

The problem is once I start the game, it is being run but I can't open it. That's why I want to make it run in Windowed mode.

im literally having the same fking problem. I can't play the game. I launch the game and it will be running but it keeps minimizing itself everytime i try and open it. I tried looking for a config file in the game files so i can edit it into starting up in windowed mode instead of fullscreen but they have some weird ass files that are written strangely so i couldn't find a comprehensive file that would be editable to make it windowed. did you or anyone else find a fix?

okay brother I got you I got a fix. Just as it's loading up you might get a black screen at first or something along those lines just try and be clicked ONTO the game and then quickly press Alt+Enter and it will force the game into windowed mode.
