SPOILERS: The writers of this game must really hate Wonder Woman

[Unacceptable Condition]

I am kind of surprised given that Wonder Woman is one of the big 3 in the Justice League. In the original Injustice, it was kind of established that the incident with Lois is the only point of diversion between this DC universe and the main DC universe. The implication for Wonder Woman being that, if Superman were to go all evil dictator in the main DC universe, so would Wonder Woman. Rather than try to fight him or reason with him, she would just follow his lead.

I don't think it's an issue with misogyny, though that argument could be made, because it seems that Black Canary, Harley, and Catwoman are all treated with respect by the writers. Wonder Woman, for all intents and purposes, is the "big bad" in the Injustice universe. Even Superman is given some moments of sympathy for his character. Wonder Woman here has no redeemable qualities.

Black Adam and Aquaman are both royalty that, no matter the events in Injustice 1 and 2, remain loyal to their people. Diana, princess of the amazons, outright betrays hers. In her personal story ending, she puts all of her former friends on trial, and then essentially declares war on Themyscira for not supporting Superman on his insane quest to eliminate crime. This is presented thematically in the exact same way that endings for evil characters are presented in Mortal Kombat X

Wonder Woman also had also betrayed Lois Lane, by moving in on Superman immediately after Lois' death to start a romantic relatioship with him. In the main story of the game it is established that Wonder Woman's fear is that she corrupted Superman, and she absolutely did. Wonder Woman not only followed Superman's descent into evil, but she actively encourages it.

Not to mention that one of Wonder Woman's few major scenes in the original Injustice is Green Arrow making a comment on Wonder Woman's dress.

Sorry for the pseudo essay here, but I was wondering if anyone else felt this way. Obviously, the writers are huge Batman fans and that's great, but I am just amazed at how much the writers disrespect Wonder Woman as a character.

I have no idea about her lore and I am not into these comics etc. (don't even know half of the roster) but I have just seen the new WW movie and I liked the character and her story very much. So i decided to main WW in this game but playing the story I was a bit disappointed than in this game she is displayed a bit evil . I like the movie character a lot more :/.... so I will try to forget the story mode fast... and imagine I am playing a character who is a good girl. :D
