Is there an arcade mode?

Like the first game where you fought 10 enemies with Superman being the final boss?

yes... but it's pretty hidden... you have to go to the multiverse (regular one) and go to the last planet to the right... in there you'll have 5 towers... 3 arcade modes (short, medium, long) all finishing with the last boss (you can choose difficulty setting for each) and you'll also have a "survival" tower and an "endless" tower.

They're called "Battle simulators" I think, not arcade mode... but those first 3 are arcade modes, you get individual endings for each character in those.

I just wanted to say I'm really enjoying the arcade mode although I haven't tried the 12 match one yet. Is that the one with Darkseid as a boss? The 5 and 8 ones were just Braniac.

Are the endings for each character the same regardless of which of the 3 you play?

No it's all brainiac... darkseid was a dlc I think... but he pops up randomly.

And yes, same endings... it's just a lenght difference. You can do the achievement with the 5 matches tower.
