No DLC characters in Legendary Edition

So here's the thing. I got the Legendary Edition as a gift few days ago, and I checked out what it was meant to include. It seems it should include the DLC characters (Darkseid, Red Hood and so on), however I can't find a way to get them. Of course they are not available for use in any game mode, and when I check the purchase/download menu I can only purchase them. I can't see any way to download or redeem them. I also noticed something weird, that is it appears as a regular "Injustice 2" in my Library, whereas it says "Legendary Edition" in the actual game main menu. Any idea about what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

That is strange it should come with every thing besides God/Demon shaders and Braniac(which is a scam you can get him after you beat the story mode) i have Legendary(it says Injustice 2 in library) you do not need to redeem them(i didn't have to)they should be in your DLC box and some of the charecters(Powergirl, lighting dude, John Stewart) are shaders instead of actual charecters but they do have their own dialoge.

That's right. I actually have the alternative skins that you mention. I have Reverse Flash as a Flash skin, and Powergirl, Black Lightning, Stewart... Those I do have. Yet I don't have the DLC ones. Btw, when you say "in your DLC box", what are you referring to? like, somewhere in my library, or somewhere in-game? Thx

In your library when you click on a game it shows a page with a play button and info and what not and if the game has dlc it will show up in a box on the page.

Right, yeah, I know what you mean now; but no, I don't have said box in the game library page -_-'. I guess that's even weirder...

That is strange have you gone to the store page and checked in the dlc section to see if the dlc are listed in your library it should be marked as a blue bar on the side of the dlc listed at least it is for me.

Maybe you got the base version and not the Legendary edition... I'm fairly sure they all say "Legendary" in-game even if they're base or ultimate.

where diid you buy it, o where the person who gifted to you?

right click the game from within steam and left click properties and then select the dlc tab to see what dlc content you actually have, if you have the dlc listed, make sure the check boxes are selected, if not select them and Steam will download them to add the missing content. If not check if the gift was listed as legendary or if it is the base version of the game... also if you check the store the season pass should be already listed as you own it.
