Hmm, strange! Maybe you wanna try my layout? I have numpad, but still....You can try mine!
Num 7: Light attack
Num 8: Medium attack
Num 9: Heavy attack
Num *: Meter Burn
Num 4: Change Stance
Num /: Interactions in the level
Num +: Used in multiverse for calling assistance
I don't know if this will help you, but try it out! Hope it works.
So when you press light attack + medium attack you'll get an interaction.
When you press light + heavy you'll get a throw
When you press medium + heavy you'll do a flip stance.
(Or you can use the alternate keybinds for each of those actions)
I'm guessing you're having trouble with doing a background interaction, for exemple, by mistake when trying to do a combo because you pressed 2 buttons too quickly... is that the problem?
If that is the problem, the only solution is to be a bit more careful... it's annoying, I know, it happens to me too sometimes... =P
You use the left hand to move??? Heresy... u_u
(also, you're missing a button there, for the character trait/ability =P)
Yeah, I forgot that one! Sorry. It's Num / (Thanks for reminding me). And I understood now what he meant by shortcuts, that can't be avoided sadly.
(I mean, yes I do, because of habit, but eh... doesn't make sense).
I play other fps games, so I'm very used to WASD for movement. xD But, I guess it's everyone's own preference.
But in the end, in a FPS game, the most important action is aiming, which you do with the mouse and the right hand... so my theory isn't wrong ;)
