Legendary edition or Ultimate edition?

What is the difference between the legendary pack and ultimate edition.

The Ultimate Edition and Legendary Edition are very similar, but have their differences. I believe you can still find the Ultimate Edition on third-party websites incase it has something you want that the Legendary Edition doesn't offer.

Ultimate Edition

• Includes all Fighter Pack characters, Darkseid NOT included
  
• Three Premier Skins: Power Girl (Supergirl), John Stewart (Green Lantern), Reverse Flash (The Flash)
  
• Demons shader IS included

Legendary Edition

• Includes all Fighter Pack characters, Darkseid IS included
  
• Five Premier Skins: Power Girl (Supergirl), John Stewart (Green Lantern), Reverse Flash (The Flash), Grid (Cyborg), Black Lightning (Raiden)
  
• Demons shader IS NOT included

(It's worth noting that the Grid Premier skin is available for FREE just by linking your account to the mobile game. Also, Brainiac can be acquired for free by beating the story mode.)

The Gods shader is included in Fighter Pack 1, so I believe you should receive it even if you buy the Legendary Edition (someone can correct me if I'm wrong.) It is known for a fact however that the only way to get the Demons shader is to purchase the Ultimate Edition.

Black Lightning does come with the Ultimate Edition so Grid (the free mobile unlock) is the only Premier skin difference between the 2 versions and since he can be gotten for free it is kind of mote point. Basically the Ultimate edition comes with the Demons/Gods Shaders and no Darkseid and the Legendary comes with Darkseid and maybe the Gods shader. Just know the shaders can be used on every character so if you want a bit more color choices the shaders are a nice thing to have and you can find Darkseid DLC for $3-6 if you are trying to figure out the price differences.

I got my information from retailers of what the Ultimate Edition includes, and none of them mentioned Black Lightning being available, but sure enough I launched the game and had him (I have the Ultimate Edition)! I suppose Netherrealm added him in as a bonus for Ultimate Edition users after the fact.

To the OP: the best course of action would be to buy the Ultimate Edition and then buy Darkseid separately if you desire to play him. You can get Grid by linking your mobile account.

I have the Legendary edition, no mobile link. This is what I have:

• All DLC characters, including Darkseid. Brainiac through story.
  
• Skins: Powergirl, John Stewart, Black Lightning, Grid
  after beating him in storymode ). I did NOT link my account to get Grid.
  
• NO god/demon skins

i didn't get the god shaders when i bought the legendary version

I got the ultimate edition and it did come with Black Lightning, but it didn't include Grid

Grid is free when you link the game with the mobile game as mentioned above.

I have a legendary edition, with all the characters and some aspects, the Demons shader don't interest me.

Buy it on sale, I always see it 70% 80% worth it if you like DC (Batman)
