Keyboard Freezing on Last Input

As it stands I recently bought the game and fully intend to get a controller for it and the other games that I have that are best played in that manner, but I seem to have an unfortunate problem: The game itself works fine, I have no input lag, no framerate drops, and everything looks really pretty. Peachy, even, except for the fact that maybe thrity second into each fight (or tutorials in my case since I'm quite new to the genre) my keyboard freezes on whatever my last input was. For instance if I was jumping then all my character will do is jump. If I was moving to the left, the only thing that happens is that I move to the left. I have no control beyond that point. I can't input any new commands. All I can do is wait for the AI to kill me, at which point I'll regain the ability to use my mouse allowing me to exit to the main menu and then the game, which doesn't fix the issue since the input is still on-going. Opening up a notepad shows this quite clearly since it simpy repeats whatever that input was. At this point my only option is to disconnect and reconnect my keyboard after which everything works as it normally does. I've never run into this issue in any of my games so I don't think it's a designed flaw like many mouses develop.

I realize I'm being a huge plebian playing this type of game with a keyboard in the first place, a problem I fully intend to fix soon, but I can't seem to find any useful information online on how to fix this issue, if it's even an issue. I'm just concerned the problem will persist after I purchase a controller because it has something to do with the game itself rather than my personal setup, but if anyone has any thoughts on how to fix this I'd be very grateful and hopefully the few people with this issue will be able to find some quality advice on how to remedy their problem. The few moments I did get to play were pretty fun, so I'm not giving up hope.

I normally play with a controller but often I have used a keyboard and this problem has never occurred to me. If your keyboard is working fine otherwise, then its probably the game. Verify integrity of game cache. Maybe some missing files.

A lot of people are having this issue including myself. Unfortunetly there isn`t any fix for it other then unpluging the keyboard and pluging it back or getting a different keyboard.
