HDR10 Output locked in the OFF position? [workaround found]

I can't change it to ON, despite being in fullscreen.
Anyone else?

UPDATE: In Display Settings, select "Default" and the damned thing will come alive. ;)

I had to enable dynamic resolution for HDR to kick in.

I found a workaround to enable HDR10.
In Display Settings, select "Default" and the damned thing will come alive. ;)

And finally, DAMN this game is looking gorgeous now!!!

Restart the game and it will get fixed by itself.

Glad to hear, wonder why setting the dynamic resolution worked for me (which I'd rather not do.)

I'm running full HD with everything maxed out.
My 1070 can't handle the game in 4K+HDR at 60 FPS, even with AA turned off.

No you can't. The slider becomes grayed.
You do have an HDR output level calibration instead.

The game crashed my Sony X900e tv, not my PC, but my TV when I tried HDR. This is with certified HDR HDMI cables, ISF calibration on an 1080 ti.

That's weird. I have an LG B6 and have never seen the TV crash.
It did get some funky green/pink coloring once after trying some HDR stuff, which only went away after powering it down.
