Transform gear, Grid,
It says transform gear doesn't cost source crystals anymore, then when I try to do it it asks if I want to spend 2000 source crystals, so which is it?

Grid is locked again, but you can't unlock him because the account is already linked.

The "free" transforms is a DLC that cost 10 bucks. You spend 10 bucks and you get unlimited transforms.

If Grid is locked up again...eh, I dunno, all I could say is restart the game more than once and see if that does anything. Otherwise not sure what to try.

It's a bug many of us are getting, if not all of us. Apparently, there's a list on Reddit of gears affected by this bug. Official word says they're already working on a fix.

Sorry for resurrecting this, but was the issue with Grid ever solved? The skin got locked for me during the shader loss in March and it's still locked on my account.

yep, they couldn't reverse the process, so we just took the hit. Console players got 4000 Source Crystals as an apology in the form of "appreciation for playing" or something (so they could buy back one lost regular shader), guess we're not appreciated enough over here at Steam.

So the Grid skin is locked forever if you had linked your mobile account to steam before the shader loss? Because you're not allowed to do the linking process again, you get a message that the account is already linked.

I guess we wait for modders to find a solution.

Strange, grid actually is a premiere skin, I didn't lose it tough. Submit a ticket to WB support.
