Gorilla Grodd stuttering issue.
Hello guys!

Any word from Warner or Qloc about that bug?

Thanks!

To clarify the above:

The way our crack works is that it reads a huge amount of encrypted code,
(including the code that the anti-tamper tries to overwrite) and therefore
patching the required place causes some slowdowns thanks to Denuvo and
the devs.

The crack causes extra slowdowns because it needs to load a bunch of code at that moment to patch it.

That said, it does seem this is a bad implementation of Denuvo given that it seems non-pirates have had issues there as well.

I do not care much about denuvo, so long as my pc runs the game flowlessly, which it does no stutters at all. Smooth as a babie's bum

Son of ♥♥♥♥♥... We have been looking at this the wrong way all this time.
I knew about Denuvo in this game, never was good with it, but now causing THIS SPECIFIC issue. What a horrible implementation. From a software standpoint, what kind of checks are these needed to be done DURING gameplay. If any tamper is to be done, wouldn't it be caught at the moment everything is loaded to gpu/cpu? I mean ONE move is ruining the experience for everybody. Robin AND Grodd still are unplayable for many.
I did not noticed anything in Robin (I second-main Robin) but Grodd has had been a problem since April until just now. A Grodd match used to unstable to no tomorrow. Even with a medium-high end CPU. Very frustrating.

Yeah. I figured it would probably be related to Denuvo. I almost didn't buy the game when I knew about it, but my love of fighting games and the Injustice series in particular took precedence, but I make it a point of not buying games with Denuvo anymore.

And yeah, I had never noticed any slowdown with Robin either, in my game it was just Grodd and Batman's trait on block.

Denuvo is the cancer. I am very excited about this game but because it has denuvo i will never ever buy.

And here's one funny thing. I was just practicing doing Gorilla Grodd's stampede cancels in practice mode and I saw ZERO stuttering across the board. It feels like there is a problem when the AI is doing the moves, as if the usage of CPU between the AI and Denuvo is messing things up. I just practiced for about an hour and didn't feel a single stutter.

Weird stuff, this is.

Me too! Try a Grodd vs Grodd match on practice mode, I went on about 15 minutes and only had 2 drops to 57/58 FPS. NOT BAD, considering I could still lower the graphics settings. Compared to pre-patch where you had drops to 15/20 FPS and slow motion. I hope they still work on this mode and/or delete Denuvo altogether.

And your opponents? Hope you only bought it for single player. Everyone else who prefers to play online against other people will just have to choose a different game.
I play online just fine

So they aren't really planning on fixing that huh

It has gotten much better, but we can only hope. They deleted the spyware and say nothing about it, so we hope we get another performance patch.

I never had any issues or stuttering or frame drops so, idk.

The Redshell.dll file is gone but many are saying that the main exe is now flagged by some programs as malware so it seems more that they just hid Redshell as part of the main exe file rather then getting rid of it. The August patch was 2 gigs with no patch notes so you would think if Redshell was truly gone the Devs would have made a post about it since they know it is one of the main reasons people are avoiding buying the game.

Yeap, I'm one of those!
I've just saw the sale and ran to the forum to check if they removed redshell and improved the performance issues caused by denuvo.
I'm worried about the game getting delisted because of the TMNT dlc and some others that might have a license issue in the near future, but redshell and denuvo keep holding be back!
I'm considering even buying the game now and downloading it only way down the line =\
