Hello guys!

Any word from Warner or Qloc about that bug?

Thanks!

Seems you are almost unique Ngoni.
I have a high end system too and like my others friends, Grodd stuttering is there.

Perhas Firmware? OS? Graphics card edition? You may be the only case where Grodd doesn't mess up the engine.

My game also stutters with Grodd, with a GTX 970 and an i7 930 CPU @ 2.8 GHZ.

It only happens when Grodd does his groundpound, standing strong and interactible moves. If you (or the AI) don't perform those moves, you dont see a single FPS drop and everything goes flawlessly.

It IS a glitch, not a performance issues, guys. I think we are looking at it the wrong way. It would have just been mitigated by lowering the graphics quality or resolution. In fact, on 1080p, 720p, or even 600p the game behaves the same way. Many users have reported it since the April patch, before this, the game ran well! Even a dev posted on that same topic they would "look into this issue" but I guess their contract expired.

I will record a video about how this affects general gameplay and how unplayable the game becomes when there is a Grodd mirror match.

wow i just did a test and i never encountered such bro. Even with the ground pound not even a stutter or frame drop so i don't know what to tell you now

In my case, sometimes the game will drop to single digit frames when I hit Grodd with a bounce interactable. Ground pound, standing 3 and stampede cancels also make the game stutter.

There are also some other situations where the game will stutter, like Batman's trait on block.

No stuttering issues for me with any of the characters, either using them or playing against them. Have you tried using fastsync for nvidia gpus?

Some people don't notice minor stutters or some low graphics configurations avoid the load of some effects causing the bug.

I have the game on the lowest settings and I still get massive FPS drops when using or fighting against Grodd... I figured it was because of the fur as well... but honestly, this kind of bad optimizing is not a good look...

But then again, the game keeps randomly crashing, so it seems they just don't give a crap.

Btw, I also have issues with some textures... the don't load or load badly... plus it seems sometimes texture-loading cause crashes as well... =/

That is a cache issue. To mitigate this you could try lowerring the texture quality settings. I used to have it on Very High, but the game would constantly crash in-netween fights or at the loading screen after I play a few matches. Overall, do not play longer than 30 minutes, then close the game and open again.

Is not needed man. We have many cache cleaners on the fly to do that. Isnt the case here.

After the last patch, I must say the Grodd lag is not as noticeable.
So far I had to swtich Frameskip to ON and Dynamic Resolution OFF.
The rest I kept as normal. I noticed the game lagging a few times at 1728p (specially with Grodd) unlike before the game would run as normal, so I set it 1620p.

SkrEEmeR Aug 22, 2018 @ 5:24pm
Nope, Grodd still stutters the game a lot for me
hneyra89 Aug 22, 2018 @ 6:06pm
I am sorry to hear that. I would suggest reinstall?
I had to play around with my graphics settings to get a consistent framerate withe everyone.
I basically ended up with the settings of my liking plus Frameskip on and Dynamic Res OFF
