Gorilla Grodd stuttering

Hello everyone. I would like to ask about a specific performance issue that is happening to me.

The game runs absolutely fine otherwise, but whenever Gorilla Grodd is in the fight, the game will stutter heavily. Mirror matches are even worse. Any other matchup runs at a steady 60 FPS, but Gorilla Grodd makes the game stutter no matter what settings.

Here's my config:

Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.8 GHZ
8 GB DDR3 RAM
NVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
Latest NVidia drivers (397.31)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found a solution that worked for me... go to options > game settings and turn off match recording. no more shuttering on grodd for me... let me know if it helped you guys!

It did not work for me. Stuttering still happen. Same problem as stated on my topic. Thanks for trying though!
