Ultimate Edition - Am I missing the Shaders?

Hey guys. I bought the Ultimate version of Injustice 2 a while ago and decided to start downloading it a few days back. I put these things off as my download speeds are ♥♥♥♥.

I was looking at the DLC list in my library and it lists all of the DLC characters including Darkseid (Which I thought was a Legendary Edition thing). I bought the Ultimate edition so I could have the Demon and God shaders. My problems is that I don’t see any mention of the shaders in my library dlc list.

I just wanted to ask if I’m missing DLC or if it’s normal for the shaders not to be listed. I also have Legendary Edition Unlocks listed and was also wondering if that is normal for the Ultimate edition. It'll be about a week or two until I can verify myself, and I wanted to save the stress I’ll be going through until then.

How do you know? In other words, what piece of information, tells you that I do have the Ledgendary Edition?

And how can I get the Shaders now? Am I forced to buy the Ultimate pack for $50 just for the shaders?

You mentioned you have Darkseid. Darkseid was preorder bonus and was not included in the ultimate edition. The fact that you have him implies you bought the legendary edition. As for the shaders, I am not sure if they are a part of the legendary edition. You could check the dlc list in the steam store to see if you have those shaders in your library. If not, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's pointless to spend 50$ just for 2 shaders.

Damn. Well then, do you know if Grid supposed to show up in the DLC list in my Library now that I know I have the Legendary Edition?

If you have darkseid and made the purchase recently you have bought legendary edition

Legendary edition has all dlc characters (including darkseid) and all premier skins

In case that grid doens't show as unlocked all you have to is to download the mobile version of the game (you can use an emulator i think) and then link both accounts in the pc version, that will give you grid

And as other user said, you don't have access to god a demon shaders, if you want them you'll have to spend soirce crystals on them

I had thought those shaders couldn't be earned and that they were only available in the Ultimate edition?

Are source crystals earned (Still waiting on the download)? And how many would I need to get both demon and god shaders if they are in fact earnable?

Source Crystals are premium currency. They are basically the microtransactions part of Injustice 2. Although earnable via various means in game, very limited can be earned. You cannot buy gods and demons shaders once and for all. These shaders were unlocked for all characters with the ultimate pack. If you were to buy them now using source crystals you'd have to buy them for each individual character. They'll probably cost around 4000-5000 source crystals each for every character.
2000 source crystals = 0.99$

So, not worth it. Instead I would suggest buying premier skins with the source crystals you earn for free. Premier skins are shaders which when equipped act as completely different characters with unique dialogue and voice acting with the exception of Bruce Wayne (he doesn't have any unique dialogue or voice acting. It's the same as Batman).

Premier Skins:
Batman (Bruce Wayne) : Source crystals
Captain Cold (Mr. Freeze) : Source crystals
Cheetah (Vixen) : Source crystals
Cyborg (Grid) : Link mobile game to pc version
Flash (Reverse Flash) : Included in the legendary edition
Flash (Jay Garrick Flash) : Source crystals
Green Lantern (John Stewart) : Included in the legendary edition
Raiden (Black Lightning) : Included in the legendary edition
Supergirl (Powergirl) : Included in the legendary edition
Superman (Bizarro) : Source crystals

Each premier skins costs 6000 source crystals. The store page says that the legendary edition includes 5 premier skins. So I guess Grid will be unlocked by default. If not, you can link mobile version with pc to unlock him. No big deal.

It's your choice though. You might wanna buy the god or demon shader for a specific character you like but at the end of the day, you'll have to spend real money on source crystals to get everything. I managed to buy 3 premier skins with the source crystals I earned in game. They had source crystals multiverses once which helped a lot. It was a one time thing though. Also, I am not sure if Brainiac is unlocked by default in the legendary edition. If you find him locked, don't buy him as dlc from the store. He can be unlocked by completing the story mode.

Yeah you eventually get em all on winnin boxes from those matches and finishing towers, so.., play a LOT of matches and finesh all of em towers

is a lot of grind, i've got the ultimate edition on launch, wich had god and demons shaders and 3 premier skins (5 if you count black lightning and grid witch where free) up to lvl 30 completing story mode, source crystals mv and the new tutorial did get me enough to unlock every premier skin, i also bought some that where enough to but 3 nth metal shaders (flash cyborg and superman) and right now i have like 2k source crystals left (i look foward to more crystals mv since i want the green lantern nth metal and the only wat to obtain them right now is to lvl up my profile, wich at over 70 is a really painfull grind)

also what arjunratnadev said is NOT true, rare shaders are only obtainable via purchasing with source crystals (with the exception of hellboy who can drop his tournament and electrum shaders on boxes and match rewards) and there's also 2 sets of common shaders per character that DO NOT drop neither as match rewars, mv rewards or in boxes
