Save Games (my game won´t get "connected to the Injustice 2 server")

Hello. I deleted my saves and kept a copy of the 627270 folder. I disabled sync cloud to start afresh and see if that would solve my problem of not being able to play online (game says "you are not connected to the Injustice 2 server" when I want to play online or do guild stuff). But now I can´t get the game to restore my progress. I have copied back the folder 627270 to where it was, but nothing. I did not save the folder in APPDATA (I just learned that I should have maybe). Is there any way to get the game to restore my progress?

I guess I know I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥. But anyway, all the money I´ve spent on source cristals and stuff...it is kinda making me try to exhaust all options...and since neither WB nor Steam seem to be doing anything to help me play the game as it should be played (boy I bought LEGENDARY edition the minute Injustice 2 released on PC; that is hard earned money) the only thing I can think of is posting this sorry ass thread...
So this is the state of affairs for me: because since the Legendary Edition update I have not been able to play online, I have tried EVERY possible solution to solve the impossibility to connect to the Injustice 2 server, I ended up messing with my save games and BEHOLD! On TOP of not being able to play online anymore, now I have lost all my gear, source cristals and everything else trying to fix this thing.

I have learnt that the hard way. But believe me, I tried port forwarding, I switched three different modems (from two different ISP) and even took my PC to a friend´s house who has a different ISP than me. NOTHING WORKS. And before the last update I was able to play the game fully...
So...WTF??? I even deleted the game and reinstalled it. NOTHING. I can play EACH AND EVERY other game I own online, BUT Injustice 2.

Wait a minute, i was looking foward to upgrade my entire pc (new hdd, mobo, cpu, etc) if i decide to build a new one and formst the hdd (i have a raid confignon an amd mobo and i want to move to intel) after downloading the game on my new pc will i lost all the progress? There's no way to back up the save?

If someone can clarify that i would be thankfull. I also have spent money on source crystals, have all characters on lvl 20 and i got nearly all the epics set pieces for every character (before legendary pieces were added) and i don't wanna lose all that

Karl you will be fine if you have Steam Cloud enabled. I did something else trying to fix online multiplayer. That is why I posted this thread. ANYBODY got any idea if I can restore my progress? Please?
