can someone explain Green Arrow (Story Spoilers)

Isn't this game a continuation of the first game.. in the first game Superman went crazy after Joker forced him to kill Lois and blow up Metropolis..

In the first game Green Arrow in the new time line was dead.. Yet in Injustice 2 he's alive and well... How is that possible when superman killed him?

All the characters who dimension jumped went back to their original dimension, including Green Arrow..

I thought at first Injustice 2 took place in the other dimension but Lex mentions near the start of Injustice 1 that the nuke never went off in the original dimension,, but only in the alternate one..

So how is Green Arrow in this game? He should totally be dead..

Don't quote me but I think this Green Arrow was pulled in from a universe where his family died in Metropolis.

That page can explain it the best. Basically it's an Oliver from an alternate earth that Doctor Fate brought together with Dinah after the original Oliver died and Dinah almost did as well.

universe 1 people went back, universe 2 ga is dead but canary isn't, universe 3 ga came to universe 2 to be with canary as in universe 3 canary is dead... its simple

I see,, I was just thinking they had a massive oversight in terms of Green Arrow since he was dead in Universe 2.. It wouldn't shock me in all honesty if WB just simply had a brain fart since I don't recall them mentioning why GA was alive again..

you're explanation makes sense though what with GA being dead in one, and Canary being dead in another. Although as shown by the events of Injustice 1, two super heros can have vastly different personalities in the alternate universe..

Like for example Superman and Wonder Woman in Universe 1 compared to Universe 2.. They are practically villians in universe 2..

Maybe I'm reading too much into the whole thing..

this is just poor story writting. I get that this is just a fighting game, but there's still a narative. I shouldn't have to refer to outside material to know what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on. Tired of seeing lazy as ♥♥♥♥ like this in movies and games now so they can try to sell tie ins or because they cant be bothered to figure out how to make it work in the story they're telling.

Uhm...it's all there in the game if you pay attention.

It's heavily implied in the cinematic where you first see harley quinn in the batcave that he is from another multiverse. That's no issue at all.

For me the biggest issue is not using the multiverse in your favor now that they can access it... Brainiac is invading? well, let's see how he holds up against an army of 100 supermans...

Of which 50 could very well be tyrants just like Prime Superman. Too many variables to risk using the multiverse.
